Jenn Giles

I am thrilled to be joining the Fleetwood team with multiple years of experience in the classroom as a grade 4, 5 and 6 teacher, as well as five years of leadership experience. Three of those years I was the Numeracy Lead Teacher for Lethbridge School Division and most recently two of those years as the Vice Principal at Senator Joyce Fairbairn Middle School. I received my Bachelor of Science and Education degrees in 2007 as well as my Masters degree in Educational Leadership in 2013 from the University of Lethbridge.

I am honoured to have the opportunity to work with the staff, students and families at Fleetwood Bawden Elementary School. I look forward to working along side this dedicated community in supporting rich inclusive experiences and in continuing to foster meaningful and innovative learning opportunities for students. Establishing and sustaining authentic relationships in a school community that are grounded in respect, integrity, and compassion are foundational in my leadership approach. 

When I am not at school, I am adventuring around with my husband Justin, my twin daughters Clara and Brielle, and our Boston Terrier, Tuff. During the winter you can find us at the ski hill and during the summer you can find us at the lake. I am thrilled to be joining this incredible community of learners and I am looking forward to the upcoming school year with your children.
