Katy Hilliard
Grade 5
My name is Katy Hilliard and I am a grade five teacher at Fleetwood-Bawden. I grew up in Spruce Grove, Alberta and went to the University of Alberta in Edmonton, where I completed my Education degree with a specialization in Inclusive Education. After living and teaching in the Foothills School Division for 10 years, my family and I moved to Lethbridge a few summers ago. When I am not teaching, I love spending time with my family, hiking, snowboarding, doing crossfit, watching and listening to live music and drinking coffee. I am passionate about building and creating deep connections with students, staff and families. I am SOOO excited to start my time here at Fleetwood and get to know this new family of learners and leaders!
